A Series of Scientific Lectures at the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

In accordance with the vision of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Ahliyya Amman University to strengthen research cooperation among faculty members and expand partnerships with researchers from various Jordanian universities and research centers, the Faculty of Pharmacy organized a series of lectures Sharing knowledge and experiences for faculty members and higher education students.The lectures began on Thursday, April 7, 2022, where Dr. Anas Abd of the Department of Biopharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology gave a lecture entitled Development of Orthogonal Nanotherapeutics for Colorectal Cancer Treatment in the presence of a large number of faculty members and graduate students of the faculty, and under the supervision of Dr. Naeem Sha’alan, Head of the Department of Pharmaceuticals and Technology. The lecture focused on the use of chemotherapy consiting of more than one drug to treat colon cancer and how to alleviate the side effects through the use of nanotechnology. It is worth mentioning that in 2017, Dr. Anas Abd was sponsored by Al-Ahliyya Amman University to earn a PhD in Pharmacology and Medicine from Queen's University Belfast in the UK.
