About Al-Hourani Award for Arts and Design
The award was established in 2021 as a continuation of Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s mission and goals in supporting development, education, and the cultural scene among young people in Jordanian society. It aligns with the global intellectual and philosophical direction that seeks to develop human creativity, self-expression, innovation, and the ability to communicate ideas and search for truth. The award aims to activate the role of youth and draw their attention to important cultural, environmental, health, educational, awareness, and social issues, while encouraging artistic and design solutions that contribute to solving problems in a purposeful and effective way.
