Workshop Entitled Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Academic Education

In alignment with Al-Ahliyya Amman University’s vision to embed the principles of justice, equality, and equal opportunities within its campus environment, the Faculty of Nursing hosted a workshop on Monday, July 20, 2026, entitled: (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in Academic Education). The workshop was presented by Prof. Dr. Abeer Dababneh, a human rights activist and legal researcher from the School of Law at the University of Jordan, at the Al-Hourani Auditorium, with the attendance of faculty and administrative staff members from the Faculty of Nursing. The workshop addressed the concepts of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the academic field, discussing how to integrate these principles into student interactions through strategies and methods that enable academic staff to create a fair and inclusive environment for students. This workshop is part of the faculty's ongoing activities aimed at developing its academic and administrative staff, organized in cooperation with the Al-Ahliyya Amman Center for Health Training.
