Women's Health Center Participates in Health Educational Festival

The Women's Health Center at the Faculty of Nursing participated in the health educational festival held in celebration of World Children's Day, October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Teacher's Day on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Orthodox Club in Al-Fuheis. The festival addressed several important topics, notably maternal and child health, with specialists shedding light on the fundamentals of healthcare for mothers and their children. The event also included a celebration of Teacher's Day, recognizing their essential role in nurturing future generations. Additionally, a sensitizing lecture on breast cancer was part of the event, which deeply resonated with attendees through an inspiring survival story from a breast cancer survivor. As part of the festival activities, free clinical screenings were provided to encourage women to seek early detection and prioritize their health.
