Welcoming Ceremony for New Students at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a Welcoming Ceremony for new students at the beginning of the second semester for the year 2015/2016. The Welcoming Ceremony started by the Jordanian Royal Anthem and reciting Qur’anic verses from the Holy Qur’an. Dr. Majid Ousaila delivered his speech through, where he welcomed the students at the first Private University in the Middle East, calling the students to make their utmost efforts to achieve the highest level of success, academic excellence, and academic competition; he also called the students to reject all violence forms and to use dialogue instead. In addition to that, he clarified the importance of students’ acquaintance of their curricula and student handbook, which contains the University’s rules and regulations as well as joining non-curricular activities which are organized by the faculties’ deanships.Prof. Sadeq Hamed - the University President - through his speech, expressed his pleasure about students’ enrolment at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, whether from inside or outside Jordan, which it has never been stopped offering the best for its students on both academic and practical levels. The Ceremony included various events. Mr. Husam Awad, the Manager of Awa’il Website for Education, offered many pieces of advice for students which assist them during their education, particularly, in their first semester which is considered to be a qualitative shift at their educational lives from schools to universities. Mr. Ayman Al-Lahaam, the Manager of Public Relations at the Pioneers’ Academy, pointed out the strategic partnership between the Academy and the University, through which it offers various training courses in many different programs and specializations.
