Vigil in solidarity with the pilot Muath Kasasbeh at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

The students of Al-Ahliyya Amman University held a vigil in solidarity with the heroic pilot Muath Kasasbeh who has dedicated his life to his homeland and nation. Prof. Sadeq Hamed, the President of the University, delivered a speech in which he said that Muath is a symbol of sacrifice, heroism and courage. He added that our morals should be high and that we should be united in combating terrorism. He warned of being dragged into sedition and ideas hostile to Islam. He called on everyone to stand behind the wise Hashemite leadership and the armed forces as one hand to maintain the security and stability of our country. He stressed our absolute confidence in the ability of Jordan under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein to release the pilot Muath. Prof. Hamed held the terrorist organization (Daesh) responsible for maintaining the safety of Muath. He added that Al-Ahliyya Amman University supports Muath family until his safe return to his family and his country. Faculty members, administrative staff, and a large gathering of students participated in the vigil.
