Vice-President of the International Accreditation Forum visits Al-Ahliyya Amman University
Professor Dr. Maher Saleem, President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, received Vice President of the International Accreditation Forum, Boyce C. Williams, accompanied by Vice Chairman of the Accreditation Body, Prof. Dr. Majed Abu Jaber. Several matters of interest to higher education were discussed in the meeting. The guest talked about the need for planning in order to improve the quality of education and expand higher education prospects. The guest also tackled the proposed center for the purposes of development of education in the Middle East and North Africa. Dr. Boyce stressed the need for the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) in the Middle East. Dr. Boyce expressed her admiration for Al-Ahliyya Amman University achievements over twenty years of its inception. She expressed sincere thanks for the warm reception and hospitality. At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Maher Saleem, President of the University delivered the University shield to Dr. Boyce.
