University Advisor Prof. Dr. Sari Hamdan Presides Over Certificate Distribution Ceremony for Training Courses for Faculty of Educational Sciences Students

Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, Advisor to Al-Ahliyya Amman University, presided over a ceremony to distribute certificates to students who completed a Cycling Refereeing Course and an Introductory Darts Course. The ceremony was held at the Mahmoud Darwish Auditorium in the presence of Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Mubaideen, President of the Jordan Cycling Federation Dr. Tariq Al-Khayyat, and President of the Jordan Darts Federation Dr. Mohammad Mataou. Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Mubaideen, welcomed the guest of honor and expressed his appreciation for his commitment to honoring and encouraging the University’s students. He also highlighted the Department of Physical and Health Education’s efforts to develop students’ capabilities, enhance their skills, and improve their readiness for the labor market. He thanked the President of the Jordan Cycling Federation and the President of the Jordan Darts Federation for their confidence in and cooperation with the Faculty. In his address, University Advisor Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan expressed his appreciation for the efforts undertaken by the Faculty of Educational Sciences to prepare students for the labor market. He noted that this is an approach that Al-Ahliyya Amman University seeks to extend across all its faculties, with the aim of enhancing graduates’ competencies, equipping them with knowledge and skills, and providing them with opportunities for training and professional development while they are still pursuing their studies. For his part, Dr. Tariq Al-Khayyat stated that the Jordan Cycling Federation’s decision to select Al-Ahliyya Amman University as the starting point for a project aimed at establishing a pool of qualified young referees reflects its confidence in the capabilities of the University and its academic staff. He expressed his satisfaction with the performance of the students who participated in the course and noted that they would continue to receive advanced training in preparation for obtaining international accreditation in the future, a goal the Federation is working to achieve in the near term. Dr. Hatem Al-Shaloul, Secretary of the Jordan Darts Federation, gave a brief presentation on the Federation’s efforts to promote the sport. He explained that, despite being recently established, the Federation has succeeded in attracting a large number of male and female players and organizing ranking and open tournaments. He noted that the introductory course, which was attended by a number of students from the Department of Physical and Health Education at the Faculty of Educational Sciences, represents an important step in introducing students to the sport and promoting its development. He added that there are plans to organize similar courses in cooperation with additional institutions in the future. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan distributed certificates to the participating students, who expressed their happiness and appreciation for the University’s initiative in organizing these training courses and its commitment to supporting their professional development and enhancing their capabilities.
