Under the Patronage of His Excellency, Abdul-Kareem Al-Kabariri, the AAU Holds the Twenty Fourth Graduation Ceremony for the Students of Second Semester 2016-2017
Under the patronage of His Excellency Abdul-Kareem Al-Kabariti, the Chairman of the Board Trustees of the AAU and in the presence of the Chairman of the Board Directors Dr. Maher Al-Horani; Mr. Omar Al-Horani, Vice-Chairman of the Board Directors; the AAU President Prof. Sadeq Hamed; Deans of Faculties; members of the academic and administrative staffs and a large number of invitees and the families of the graduate students, the AAU held the twenty fourth graduation ceremony for the second semester 2016-2017 on Saturday, 22/7/2017 in the Arena Complex.The ceremony commenced with the Royal Anthem and a wonderful recitation of the Holy Quran. Then, the Deanship of Student Affairs, Dr. Majed Usaily, delivered his speech welcoming the patron of the ceremony, the AAU officials and its staff members and other attendances. He also cited the distinguished achievements of the University including the advanced ranks achieved at the levels of the academic standards and the university contests locally, regionally and internationally. He also mentioned the University effective performance in its scientific and research mission, in serving the local community and in contributing in the development process. Dr. Usaily also highlighted the important and distinguished efforts of all AAU faculties and departments including the Deanship of Student Affairs which sought to involve students in various activities that aimed to renounce violence and extremism and attempted to polish students’ talents and personalities through targeted programs.He mentioned that the University represented by its academic and administrative staffs as well as its students declared their solidarity with our people in Palestine who confront the Israeli aggression inflicted on the sacred sites in Jerusalem. He also praised the unique role of Jordan in protecting all sacred sites including Al-Aqsa Mosque and in confronting the Israeli attempts of desecrating and closing these sites to worshipers. Finally, he seized this occasion to congratulate the graduating students and their families and to wish them more success in their practical life. Meanwhile, the student Muhammad Amjad Al-Zagal delivered the graduation speech in which he thanked the patron of the ceremony and the officials of the University including the President and the academic staffs promising to be the best ambassadors of the University whether in Jordan or in their countries. He also congratulated his graduating colleagues and their families on this occasion emphasizing the continuous communication with the University which equipped them with scientific and practical competences and polished their personalities to be capable in all areas of their endeavors. Next, his Excellency Al-Kabariti, the patron of ceremony along with the President of the AAU, handed over the certificates and the discretionary awards for the distinguished students. This event took place amid joyful celebrations enhanced by the large audience interaction and brightened by the Arena modern audio-visual technologies.
