Um Huthaifa Elementary School visits Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Within the activities of the Public Relations Department concerned with academic communication with the Kingdom schools, Al-Ahliyya Amman University received on Monday, 26.04.2010, a delegation of the eighth grade students of Um Huthaifa Elementary School in Abu Nusair. The representative of the Public Relations Department briefed the delegation about the history of the University, its foundation, faculties, and currently available disciplines, in addition to the facilities and services offered by the University. The delegation took a tour in the University, where it visited the e-Learning Centre and Arena Sports and Cultural Complex. The students visited some of the laboratories, mainly the laboratories of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences and the hearing and speech clinics. The delegation listened to a briefing about these clinics, the services they provide to the local community and the treatment methods of hearing and speech problems. At the end of the visit, souvenirs and detailed brochures were distributed to students.
