“Torture and its Psychological and Social Effects” Training Course at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

In collaboration with Noor Al Hussein Foundation/Family Health Care Institute, the Faculty of Nursing and Faculty of Arts- Department of Psychology at Al-Ahliyya Amman University conducted a training course for University students on torture and its psychological and social effects. The course lasted for three hours in which the concept, types, methods, and negative effects of torture were discussed, in addition to how to deal with people who have been subjected to torture and methods of treatment. At the end of the course, certificates were awarded to participating students.
