The Women's Health Center holds a workshop entitled Drugs and their effects on the health of women and children

In line with the strategic goals of the Women's Health Center, which focus on empowering women in all aspects, including health, an important awareness lecture was organized by a team from the Women's Health Center at Southern Shouneh Hospital on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. The lecture addressed the effects of drugs on women and families. Captain Suleiman Al-Tourah from the Anti-Narcotics Unit delivered the lecture, highlighting the health, psychological, and social risks of drug abuse, and its negative impacts on women and families in particular. He emphasized the importance of awareness and education in preventing this scourge, noting the role of the community and family in supporting and helping individuals. The lecture was part of ongoing efforts to enhance women's health and raise community awareness about the dangers of drugs.
