The QS Institution Honors Al-Ahliyya Amman University for Obtaining Five Stars in the Online Learning
The QS globe Institution specialized in the field of classification of higher education institutions honored Al-Ahliyya Amman University for obtaining five stars two months ago in the global QS Stars Rating for the Online learning. During the QS Maple 2021 Summit titled (The Future Today: Sustainable Growth Towards 2030) the AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan was honored and awarded the certificate. It is worth noting that this summit was organized by the QS institution last week in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in cooperation with Prince Mohammad Bin Fahed University and Al-Ain University. The summit focused on researching the innovative goals of Arab educational institutions for the next ten years.During this summit, Prof. Sari Hamdan made a recommendation regarding the importance of benefiting from the distance learning and the online learning experience that universities resorted to due to the Corona pandemic. He also made clear that this form of education will not be optional, so it is necessary to develop it and build on experience in order to attain the best methods. In his turn, Dr. Anas Al-Saud, the AAU Assistant President for Accreditation & International Classification Affairs, explained that submission for the QS Stars Rating - Online Learning came to highlight the online learning system and services at Al-Ahliyya Amman University, which is managed by Al-Hourani Center for E-Learning, which was established in 2007.It is worth mentioning that this rating includes seven criteria related to the teaching and learning mechanism, used methods and platforms and the logistical support services provided to students and faculty members. AAU has achieved all criteria and thus obtained five stars, which is the highest rating.
