The President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University participates in the fifth meeting of the Executive Office of the Arab University Sports Federation.

The President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, President of the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities, Prof. Sari Hamdan, participated on Sunday, 15th, Aug, 2021 in the fifth meeting of the Executive Office of the Arab University Sports Federation. The meeting was conducted remotely via the Zoom application. The president and members of the Executive Office of the Arab Federation have taken a decision to honor Arab students from Arab university who have won various medals during the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. Dr. Sari pointed out that this achievement is recorded in favor of Arab universities due to their remarkable support for student athletes, which enabled them to achieve such victories by giving them incentives to continue their efforts and achieve distinguished results.Hamdan also touched on the need for Arab universities to amend some academic regulations and instructions in dealing with their athletes, including providing scholarships covered with financial costs to give athletes more comfort and creativity in their sports field. He appealed to all those in charge of Arab universities to intensify the search for ways to facilitate the procedures of these students due to their excellence in the sports field.This honor comes to emphasize the pioneering role of the Arab Federation in the sports renaissance in Arab universities and its support by all possible means, which will reflect positively on the development of Arab sports and constitute an incentive for all Arab athletes from university students for more achievements in major tournaments.
