The President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University crowns the winners of the Jordanian Universities Basketball Championship 3×3 for male and female Students.

On Thursday, the Jordanian Universities Basketball Championship 3×3 for male and female students, which was hosted by Al-Ahliyya Amman University in the Arena Complex during the period 25-26/8/2021, and organized by the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities and in cooperation with the Kawar Foundation for organizing sports tournaments came to an end.Princess Sumaya University for Technology was won the title of the Jordanian Universities Basketball 3×3 Championship for male and female students, while Yarmouk University ranked second for male students and the University of Science and Technology ranked second for female students. The University of Jordan and the German Jordanian University ranked third for male students, and the University of Jordan along with the University of Al-Ahliyya Amman University ranked third for female students.27 teams from 17 Jordanian universities participated in the tournament, distributed among 17 male teams and 10 female teams. The first group included: Petra University, Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Mutah and Al-Isra, while the second group included the University of Jordan, Al-Bayt, German-Jordanian, Science and Technology. The third group included Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Applied Sciences, Philadelphia, the Hashemite, Yarmouk, Al-Balqa Applied University, Islamic Sciences, Zarqa and Jadara came into the fourth group.As for the female students’ championship, the teams were divided into two groups, the first included the University of Jordan, the Hashemite University of Science and Technology, Al-Balqa Applied University, and Al-Isra University. The second group included Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Zarqa University, Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Islamic Sciences, in addition to the University of Applied Sciences.In the closing ceremony, which was held under the patronage of the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the President of the Sports Association of Jordanian Universities, Prof. Sari Hamdan, in the presence of the Dean of Student Affairs at Al-Ahliyya Amman University and the Secretary of the Association, Dr. Mustafa Al-Attiyat, memorial shields were granted to the referees of the tournament and the sponsoring companies. The winning teams of the first three places were crowned.A financial reward was presented to the first-placed female student team at a value of (500) dollars provided by Bank Al-Ittihad, while the first-place team of the student championship received a cash prize of (1,000) dollars provided by Umniah company.
