The Player of the National Taekwondo Team and Al-Ahliyya Taekwondo Team, Zaid Mustafa wins the Silver Medal in the Taekwondo Grand Prix Championship in Manchester

Zaid Mustafa, the National Taekwondo and Al-Ahliyya Taekwondo Team player, achieved the Silver Medal in the 68kg category on the third round of the 6-Star Grand Prix Taekwondo Championship, which was held in the city of Manchester, England during the period 21-23 10/2022.Zaid started his participation in this tournament by defeating the French player Delan Shilamuto with a score of (2-0) in the 32nd round and surpassing the Brazilian player Idival Pontes with a score of (2-1) in the finale.In the quarterfinals, Zaid Mustafa was able to continue his winnings by defeating the Spanish player Joanne Choqueira with a score of (2-0) then passing to the final round after the withdraw of the British player ranked as number 1, Bradley Sinden and before losing in the final match against the South Korean player, Ho-Jan with a score of (0-2).It is worth mentioning that this Medal is the second for Zaid Mustafa in the Grand Prix Championship this year, after winning the Silver Medal in the second tournament that was held in the city of Paris, France.
