The Omani Ambassador, His Excellency Hilal Bin Marhoun Al-Muammari celebrates with the students of Al-Ahliyya Amman Univeristy from the Sultanate of Oman their National Omani Day on campus

On Sunday, 20/11/ 2022, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman in Jordan, His Excellency Sheikh Hilal bin Marhoon Bin Salem Al-Muammari participated in the celebrations of the 52nd National Omani Day with the Omani students completing their studies at Al-Ahliyya Amman University. H.E. Sheikh Hilal Al-Muammari was welcomed by the Vice President of the university for International Relations and Quality, Prof. Anas Al-Soud, in the presence of the Dean of the Educational Sciences Faculty, Prof. Qusai Shambour, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mustafa Attiyat and the Head of the Physical and Health Education Department, Dr. Hatem Al-Shloul along with its faculty members.The ambassador was accompanied by the members of the diplomatic mission, the Military Attaché Staff Colonel Salem bin Abdullah bin Habib Al-Obaidani and First Secretary Salem bin Suleiman Al-Wahibi, in addition to Dr. Abdullah Obeidat from the Omani Embassy.The celebration ceremony came as an initiative by the Omani students, which began with the Omani national anthem in addition to the Jordanian royal anthem, followed by a speech presented by H.E. Sheikh Hilal Al-Muammari, the ambassador in which he praised and admired the students’ efforts and enthusiasm to represent the Sultanate of Oman in its best form. He also appreciated the efforts of Al-Ahliyya Amman University with all its members for their continuous support, by which they care for the students with different cultures and create educational environment that gathers various nationalities, in which enhances the intercultural skills of international students themselves and the Jordanian students as well.H.E. Sheikh Hilal concluded his speech by wishing the students constant success during their educational journey and scientific career, hoping by their return to the Sultanate of Oman to contribute in the new renaissance under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq.The ceremony involved a group of Omani heritage live shows, which reviewed the sultanate growth progression since the time of His Majesty the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said, may his soul rest in eternal peace, up to this day. Moreover, one of the shows highlighted the historical strong relationship between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Sultanate of Oman, especially after the recent visit of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein to the Sultanate, accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah, the Crown Prince. At the end of the ceremony, Prof. Anas Al-Soud expressed his appreciation and gratitude to His Excellency Sheikh Hilal, the Ambassador and the members of the diplomatic members for accepting the invitation and sharing their national day celebrations with the students, underlining the university's willingness in taking all necessary measures to grant the students the ultimate educational experiences in their fields of study and to always follow up on their academic performances and affairs.
