The Nursing Faculty has Accredited the Nursing Program within the National Qualifications Framework

The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions, under the presidency of Professor Dhafer Al-Sarayreh, issued a decision accrediting the Bachelor of Nursing program at AAU within the national qualifications’ framework. Professor Muntaha Al-Ghraibeh, Dean of the Nursing Faculty, explained that accrediting the nursing program within the national qualifications framework is an endorsement by the National Framework Committee at the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions. This endorsement confirms that the Bachelor of Nursing program achieves the desired learning outcomes and is aligned with nursing programs in various countries worldwide that adopt qualification frameworks in the job market, as practiced in European countries. This accreditation will positively impact employment opportunities for the faculty's graduates in these countries, linking program learning outcomes to societal needs, and contributing to highlighting the excellence and competencies of nursing graduates from AAU in the job market. Obtaining this accreditation is the result of the diligent efforts made by the accreditation committees at the faculty, comprising faculty and administrative members, in direct coordination with the university's Human Resources and Institutional Development Unit. This achievement is one of the faculty’s endeavors since its establishment to create an outstanding academic environment in line with changes in the field. The faculty has diligently reviewed the curriculum and study materials to bridge the gap between program outcomes and the job market. It has achieved much during its journey by obtaining local and international accreditation certificates, the latest being the local quality accreditation from the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions and the initiation of the American ACEN accreditation process. These efforts culminated in accrediting the Bachelor of Nursing qualification within the Jordanian national qualifications framework, significantly contributing to preparing nursing college students for distinguished professional practice in the job market.
