The Ninth Scientific Research Conference in Jordan Honors Al-Ahliyya Amman University

The AAU participated in the Ninth Scientific Research Conference in Jordan which was organized by the Jordan Society for Scientific Research, Entrepreneurship & Creativity. This conference was held under the patronage of His Excellence, Prof. Adnan Badran, the Chairman of the University of Jordan Board of Trustees and the Chairman of the Jordan Society for Scientific Research, Entrepreneurship & Creativity. It also was attended by Prof. Abdil-Karim Al-Qudah, Prof. Sari Hamdan, the AAU President and an elite of scholars, researchers and academics from Jordanian, Arab and world universities along with specialists from the public and private sectors. Prof. Hamdan explained that participating in this conference stems from the AAU’s role in strengthening scientific research. He commended the goals and axes of the conference some of which is how to benefit from the mechanism of scientific research and its applications in the various sectors. Meanwhile, Prof. Rida Shibly Al-Khawaldeh, the Chairman of the Jordan Society for Scientific Research, Entrepreneurship & Creativity, expressed his thanks and respect to AAU for supporting the conference.Then, His Excellency Prof. Adnan Badran handed an honoring shield to Prof. Sari Hamdan for supporting this conference. The one-day conference dealt with a number of axes such as scientific research in Jordan, faculty members in the higher education institutions, engineering link between energy, environment and economy, sustainable agriculture, food security in Jordan, the national economy under the contemporary changes, scientific research innovation in Jordan and malnutrition: problems & solutions in addition to crisis and emergency management.
