The International Youth Organization for Environment and Development in Cooperation with the University of Jordan and Al-Ahliyya Amman University Launch the 7th Arab Scientific Conference for Giftedness and Talented

In cooperation with the University of Jordan and Al-Ahliyya Amman University and with the participation of different researchers from the Arab countries and Germany the 7th Arab Scientific Conference of Giftedness and Talented, organized by the International Youth Organization for Environment and Development, will commence on the 24th of this month. The two-day conference will be held at Mohammed Ali Bdair Auditorium of the University of Jordan. His Excellency, Prof. Dr. Marwan Kamal, the Chairman of the Royal Committee on Education, the Chancellor of the Philadelphia University, and the Chairman of the Conference Preparatory Committee, stated that the conference strives to identify the recent trends and theories in intelligence along with its impact on the knowledge society, the curricula and the intelligence role in developing the knowledge society, the intelligence programs and patterns which make an effective contribution to the development of students' educational performance, apart from the informative programs offered to students, based solely on the intelligence of the knowledge society. Moreover, the conference aims to recognize ways of helping students to wisely choose their specialties, demonstrate the impact of intelligence on the knowledge society, as well as identify training programs, including programs on curricula standards and teaching methods for the students with special needs, premised on the intelligence of the knowledge society. Additionally, the conference endeavors to apply the quality standards in the intelligence-based education of the knowledge society, and identifies the activities, events and the extracurricular programs, in accordance with the creativity, critical thinking and analytical skills. Similarly, the conference envisages a strong learning environment, based on the intelligence of knowledge society at the Arab level, in order to facilitate global comparability. On his part, the President of the International Youth Organization for Environment and Development ?Dr. Adnan Al Toubasi stated that the conference is endowed with the local, Arab and international scientific papers, whereby the President of the International Center for Innovative Education ICIE in Germany Prof. Dr. Taysir Subhi will submit the main scientific paper of the conference entitled Creative and Gifted People in the Working Environment, in addition to other valuable related papers. Moreover, Al Toubasi outlined that the conference, this year, entitled Intelligence of the Knowledge Society dealt with key themes, such as the significance of the intelligence-based education in developing balanced personalities, promoting the values of tolerance and dialogue, as well as rejecting any expression of violence. He continued saying that the conference highlights the intelligence role ?in developing education programs and to train students on the modern teaching methods. The conference addressed the quality standards, the educational reform process, the importance of intelligence in the knowledge society, and the role of the Educational Sciences Faculty in supporting the intelligence programs ?of the knowledge society, which effectively contributes to the development of modern methods for the preparation of gifted students. Similarly, Al Toubasi focused on the social media's role in developing the intelligence of the knowledge society, diversifying methods of physiological and educational counseling, and promoting intelligence-based education of the knowledge society. In this sense, the conference paid greater attention to the programs, aimed at building upon the potentials of students with special needs, and investing in the general, vocational and technical education, reiterating the intelligence role in promoting teaching. The conference discussed the impact of intelligence-based education of the knowledge society on the learning environment, school administration and teachers, apart from the Arab and international comparisons on the intelligence-based education of the knowledge society.
