The Interior Design Department Organizes a Scientific Visit to Under-Construction Building Workshop

The Department of Interior Design at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, our AAU, organized a field scientific visit for students of the course "Project Management and Quantity Surveying" to a building workshop of an under-construction apartment in the Rabyeh area. The visit was supervised by Dr. Mazen Arabasi, the course instructor and a faculty member in the Interior Design Department. This visit aimed to equip students with the necessary skills for drawing execution plans, calculating costs and wages, and taking internal measurements of the building on-site. This visit is part of the faculty's efforts to bridge the gap between students' theoretical and practical skills in the job market, and aligns with the university's policy of openness to the local community in line with its vision, mission, and core values.
