The Faculty of Pharmacy Participates in the Ninth Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Zaytoonah University

The Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Ahliyya Amman University participated in the International Pharmaceutical Conference 2024 (ZIPC2024), organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy at Al-Zaytoonah University in Jordan, held from October 16 to 17, 2024. The distinguished participation from the Faculty of Pharmacy included Professor Bilal Al-Najjar and Associate Professor Ali Mahmoud Al-Sumaidai, who presented research that enriched discussions and opened avenues for scientific collaboration. Professor Bilal Al-Najjar presented two scientific posters: the first titled "From Pixels to Pills: Showcasing AI’s Triumphs in Drug Discovery," and the second titled "Novel Glucokinase Activators: A Structure-Based Pharmacophore Modeling, QSAR Analysis, and Molecular Dynamics Approach." Additionally, Dr. Ali Al-Sumaidai delivered a keynote presentation titled "Meta-Analysis of Nano-Phytosomes: Unleashing the Potential of Plant-Derived Compounds for Advancing Cancer Therapy," which garnered significant interest and appreciation from the attendees. The conference was attended by several students from the Faculty of Pharmacy across various undergraduate and graduate programs, including: Tabarak Riyad Hamid Al-Samraei (Master's graduate), Mansour Al-Sayed Ahmed (Master's graduate and participant in the conference with a scientific poster), Rawan Wael Mufarji (first-year Master's student), Maryam Barakat Mansi (Bachelor's graduate and first-year Master's student), Hashim Ali Abdullah Malahwish (Bachelor's student), Zain Saleh Salman Al-Tarawneh (Bachelor's student), and Zahraa Fouad Al-Zubaidi (Bachelor's graduate and second-year Master's student).
