The Faculty of Information Technology Organizes A Day for New Students

In light of the genuine interest that the Faculty of Information Technology ascribes to keeping in contact with its students, the Dean of the Faculty had met with the newly enrolled students during the second semester of the academic year 2017-2018. This meeting which took place on Wednesday 21/3/2018 was attended by a number of the academic and administrative staffs in the Faculty. The meeting was started by welcoming the new students and presenting an overview about the Faculty departments and their academic plans and programs. This was followed by few advices intended to help them achieve success in their studies. Some of these advices included the importance of following the academic and advisory plans; the necessity of paying attention to the University regulations and instructions. The students were urged to communicate with their academic advisors and Heads of departments; to commit themselves to the announced dates of registration and exams; to keep track with the bulletin board and the electronic websites of the Faculty and University to be informed about the latest events.
