The Faculty of Educational Sciences Organizes a Workshop Titled "Designing a Safe School Environment for Practicing Sports Activities" for Physical Education Teachers in Al-Jami'a Schools Group.
As part of the ongoing collaboration between our AAU and the local community, the Faculty of Educational Sciences organized a workshop titled "Designing a Safe School Environment for Practicing Sports Activities." This workshop is part of the university's commitment to enhancing inclusive education and developing the professional skills of teachers. It aimed at enhancing the knowledge and abilities of physical education teachers in Al-Jami'a Schools Group, focusing on designing safe school environments that support effective and safe sports activities.
The workshop was conducted by Dr. Hatem Shaloul, Head of the Department of Physical and Health Education, and Dr. Nazem Qandeel, Head of the Department of Special Education. The workshop covered the fundamental principles and practices, such as providing designated spaces for physical exercises, selecting appropriate equipment, ensuring safety, and continuous supervision, with a focus on adapting sports environments to meet the needs of students with special needs.
This workshop is part of a series of meetings organized by the university to enhance the quality of education and develop effective educational practices. Prof. Mohammad Mobaideen, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Sciences, emphasized the pioneering role of Al-Ahliyya Amman University in building a healthy and safe educational environment that contributes to the well-being of students and hones their skills at all levels.
