The Faculty of Dentistry at AAU Hosts Dental Experts from Public and Private Sectors

The Faculty of Dentistry organized a scientific evening in collaboration with the Jordanian Society for Dental Prosthetics, focusing on the digital transformation in dentistry. The event witnessed a significant attendance of dental professionals from both the public and private sectors. Dean of the Faculty, Professor Yazan Husouna, emphasized that organizing such events is part of the continuous scientific activities of the faculty. These activities aim to present medical advancements and promote the concept of continuous medical learning. Dr. Raed Al-Ghlayini, President of the Jordanian Society of Prosthodontics, highlighted the importance of scientific collaboration between professional societies and the Faculty of Dentistry for its positive impact on dental practice. Dr. Muatasem Abu Awad, a consultant in dental prosthetics, discussed recent developments in the field of digital dentistry and the digital applications used in dental implantation and replacement.
