The Faculty of Architecture and Design Organizes a Visit to the Tigris Satellite Channel

The Faculty of Architecture and Design/ the Department of Film, Television and the Theatre Design in AAU organized a scientific visit to the Tigris Satellite Channel on Saturday, 25-3-2017.The visit was part of activities aimed to build bridges of cooperation between universities and institutions of the community and to enable students to communicate effectively with the labor market. During the visit, the students were introduced to the techniques of live broadcasting of satellite channels and of producing various programs broadcasted by the channel. The Channel organized a round for students in the rooms of various kinds of editing, production, control and studios. Students closely followed the fine details of television broadcasting and program production. A discussion with the officials in this Channel took place regarding the need for continuous communication and opening the way for students to carry out practical applications and training. The officials in the Channel expressed their full readiness to cooperate and provide students with facilities in all fields.
