The Faculty of Architecture and Design at Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Pioneers Academy for Training Organize a Forum on Architecture and Design

Under the patronage of Prof. Sadiq Hamid, the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, and in cooperation with the Public Relations Department, the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Al-Ahliyya Amman University and Pioneers Academy for Training, a forum was organized and dealt with Architecture and Interior Design under the title Mastering Autodesk Day 2016. In this event which took place on Saturday 10/12/2016, faculty members and students from twenty Jordanian universities, public and private have participated. The opening ceremony included many paragraphs; it started with a speech from the organizers. The President welcomed the guests and talked about the foundation of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the University. He praised the distinctive organization of this event, the importance of the forum at this time and the need to draw inspiration from all the developments witnessed in the design world. Dr. Rana Al-Matarneh, the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, presented a detailed display of the modern trends in design, especially the use of computer software specialized in design and the mechanisms of using it in order to cope with the rapid developments in this field. Then the University Coral presented enjoyable songs.During the opening ceremony, a group of pioneers and successful stories in the world of architecture and design were introduced. They are Mrs. Suzan Abu Jaber, Head of the Jordanian Interior Design Association, Mr. Ayoub Esteitiyeh, Chairman of Ayub Esteitiyeh Group and Engineer Yasmin Al-Wadi, Projects Director in the Jordanian Council for Green Building. All of them emphasized the importance of keeping up with the specializations of architecture and design for software and embracing the latest technological and technical developments which aim to provide local, regional and global markets with qualified engineers and designers quipped with the necessary skills to serve their communities.
