The Faculty of Architecture and Design at AAU Participates in the Student Exchange Program: Global Solutions Conversations

The Faculty of Architecture and Design at Al-Ahliyya Amman University concluded its participation in the Global Solutions Conversations (GSC) student exchange program. This virtual dialogue program facilitates exchange among university students from Iraq, Jordan, and the United States, focusing on sustainability, design thinking, and intercultural communication. It aims to promote sustainability awareness, support the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), enhance students' problem-solving skills, and foster cultural exchange. Supervised by experienced sustainability experts, the program provided students with practical experiences related to their fields of study and discussions on potential solutions for global challenges. Dr. Saba Nusirat was selected by the program's organizing committee for academic supervision across the three participating countries. She oversaw the activities of the program and guided the team of eight distinguished students from various faculties at Al-Ahliyya Amman University. The program included six interactive discussion workshops conducted via the virtual platform Zoom from September to November 2024. The organizing body, the International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX), commended the active participation and valuable contributions of the Al-Ahliyya Amman University team, reflecting their commitment to the program’s objectives.
