The Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences holds an introductory workshop on quality and courses quality
The Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University held an introductory workshop on quality and courses quality for the faculty and administrative members, which was presented by Dr. Khaled Al-Qaisi, the acting Deputy Dean for Accreditation and Quality Affairs and Head of the Cosmetology Department.Dr. Khaled discussed the strategic plan of the faculty for the years 2020-2024 and the processes of its annual work plans, committees and councils to achieve the goals and objectives of the plans set.During the workshop, the faculty presented its updated organizational structure, outcome report for the academic year 2021/2022 as well as the faculty's achievements during the past academic year. In addition, Dr. Khaled Al-Qaisi emphasized the necessity of commitment by each faculty and administrative member and the need of their cooperation to meet the goals of the strategic plan set for the faculty. Moreover, the policy of teaching and learning issued this year was overviewed, as well as the policy procedures and forms such as course plan models and the educational outcome measurement mode to be used in ensuring the quality of the courses offered by each department. This workshop comes within a series of workshops set and organized by the Quality Committee and the Study Plans Committee to be held during the academic year to spread the culture of quality among the faculty and to ensure the commitment of faculty members to the quality standards of the courses offered.
