The Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand in Jordan Visits AAU

Professor Anas Al-Soud, our Vice President for International Relations and Quality Affairs, welcomed Mr. Adisak Jantawong, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to discuss avenues of cooperation between the two parties. During the meeting, Prof. Al-Soud gave a brief overview of the university since its establishment as the first private university in Jordan, covering its strategic plan, vision, faculties, centers, programs, and future plans. This meeting comes within the framework of the university's efforts to expand its international network and enhance cooperation with various countries and international institutions to achieve sustainable academic and cultural development. Mr. Adisak expressed his pleasure at the distinguished level achieved by the university and presented some proposals aimed at enhancing cultural and academic cooperation between the university and the embassy. The importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kingdom of Thailand in various fields related to education and culture was emphasized. Prof Anas Al-Soud reiterated the university's readiness to support and enhance cultural and academic exchange between students and researchers from both countries, emphasizing the importance of enhancing mutual understanding and strengthening cultural ties between the two peoples. Attending the meeting was Ms. Reem Aabid, Head of the Reputation and Communication Department at the Global Engagement Center. Subsequently, Prof. Anas Al-Soud accompanied Mr. Adisak on a tour of some university facilities such as the Faculty of Dentistry, the Arena Cultural and Sports Complex, and the Faculty of Hospitality and Culinary Arts. At the end of the visit, Dr. Al-Soud presented a commemorative shield to his esteemed guest in appreciation of his gracious visit.
