The Director General of the Saudi Food and Drug Administration sponsors the ceremony of distributing food health and safety certificates to students of the Faculty of Culinary Arts and Hospitality at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

The Director General of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), Prof. Nizar Mahmoud Mohidat, sponsored the ceremony of distributing food health and safety certificates to students of the Faculty of Culinary Arts and Hospitality at Al-Ahliyya Amman University. He pointed out that in order to activate the cooperation agreement signed between the two parties, the food safety guidelines prepared by the Association were adopted as a main reference for food health and safety because of its high standards and application of optimal standards in food preparation, and this is what qualifies them to obtain a certificate from the Association, congratulating the students and wishing that they would continue applying the standards contained in the guide on the ground to provide a safe product for the citizens. For his part, Prof. Dr. Fayez Haddad, Dean of the Faculties of Business and Culinary Arts and Hospitality, indicated that Al-Ahliyya Amman University is working to qualify students with all the knowledge and skills necessary to join the local market and economic sectors with distinguished competencies, pointing to the importance of food health and safety in various aspects of life in general and in the hospitality sector in particular because of its benefits on health directly and also from the economic aspects, hence the cooperation with the leading institution with its distinguished role and in providing what is beneficial to Jordan under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein. Mr. Amin Al-Ardah said that out of the university's belief in the importance of food safety, it allocated a course for this specific topic, and we did not find better than the food safety guidelines prepared by the Association, which is the national reference body for ensuring food quality and safety, and because of its standards that keep pace with international standards which is a source of pride for Jordan and the Association, expressing his thanks to the SFDA, training and faculty members for contributing to the qualification of 25 students.
