The Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design organizes a workshop on Silk Screen Printing Techniques for the students of Utopia Schools

The Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design from the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Al-Ahliyya Amman University organized a workshop on silk screen printing techniques for the students of the Utopia School on Wednesday 30/11/2022. The workshop was presented by Dr. Omran Hassan, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Faten Al-Jazzar, Head of the Multimedia and Graphic Design Department, Dr. Hanan Al-Sheikh, Deputy Dean for Accreditation and Quality Affairs and Mr. Mohammad Ibraheem, an administrative member in the Utopia Schools in the city of Al Salt. The workshop included an introduction to silk screen printing techniques, the printing mechanism and the materials used. A number of students from the Utopia School participated in printing different models. This workshop helps in enhancing the technical skills of school students and achieving the set of faculty goals in strengthening the interaction and integration with the local community as well as providing expertise and proposing possible means of joint cooperation between academic institutions to create an open, sustainable and supportive knowledge environment for innovation.
