The Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design Organizes a Scientific Visit to Hindiyeh Museum / Jalaad Cultural Center

The Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, AAU, organized a scientific visit for students of the History of Graphic Design and Multimedia course to Hindiyeh Museum/ Jalaad Cultural Center on Thursday, May 16, 2024. The visit was supervised by Dr. Imran Hassan, the course instructor, Dr. Faten Al-Jazzar, the department head, and Yasmin Al-Anbousi, the lab supervisor and administrative board member. During the visit, students explored works by renowned international and Arab artists at the Hindia Art Museum, which houses over 5,000 pieces, including graphic arts, photography, sculpture, and ceramics. The purpose of this visit was to acquaint students with the aesthetics of global art, particularly graphic arts. It aligns with the faculty's goals of engaging and integrating with global cultural and artistic institutions and facilitating collaborative opportunities between the Faculty of Architecture and Design and cultural institutions to create an open, sustainable, and supportive environment for creativity and innovation.
