The Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design Organizes a Field Visit to the National Packaging Center (JOPACK)

The Department of Multimedia and Graphic Design at the Faculty of Architecture and Design – our AAU organized a field visit to the National Packaging Center (JOPACK) on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, for students in the Packaging Design course. The visit was coordinated by the course instructor Dr. Faten Al-Jazzar and administrative staff member Yasmeen Al-Anbousi. The visit included an introductory workshop on the importance and types of packaging, as well as regional and international packaging competitions, presented by the center's director, Mr. Yusuf Abu Atieh, and Ms. Sarah Hadeeb from the center's team. The students also took a tour of the various sections of the center, where they were introduced to the latest technologies and equipment used in packaging design for food products. They learned about the stages of design, cutting, assembling, and measuring the effectiveness and usability of the final packaging. This visit aimed to support the educational process by linking the academic side with the job market.
