The Dean of the Faculty of Business in Al-Ahliyya Amman University Meets Representatives of the Salalem Company

The Dean of the Faculty of Business, Prof. Abdel Nader Nour, met the representatives of Salalem Company, which is a leading and specialized company in the E- Training and E-learning Sectors. This meeting was held to implement the “Speakers Series” in the Faculty of Business which is related to the banking sector. The session targeted fifty students from the faculty who are interested in discussing the entrepreneurship and economic issues with experts.During the first meeting which was held on Wednesday 28/12/2016, Prof. Nour clarified the necessity of attending these sessions especially for the third and fourth year students. He also clarified that the sessions would be continuously held at a fixed date i.e. the twenty-eighth of each calendar month and would last for one and a half hour. In each session, an expert would be hosted to share with the students successful experiences in the labor market to benefit them and to clarify what they would encounter in the labor market. This is intended to reduce the gap between the academic specializations and the labor market and to achieve consistency between the theoretical and practical aspects of life and to assist the students in building their career paths. The Manager of Salalem Company, Mr. Zeid Al-Masry expressed his profound thanks to his Excellency the President of the University for hosting the company. He also thanked the Dean of the Faculty for his interest in holding these sessions which benefit students to determine their career paths. He also thanked the academic staff and the students for their attendance. Finally, he added that Al-Ahliyya Amman University was selected in addition to two other Jordanian universities to accomplish these sessions.Dr. Tamer Al-Nabulsi, the speaker in this session, talked about practical success which students can obtain from learning in the university and use it in building the career path. He added that what is taught in universities can be adapted for success in practical life. The speaker discussed the risk management and illustrated the significance of this concept in the banking sector and others. It is based on the concept of uncertainty which is actually developed in the banking sector.
