The Dean of the Faculty of Business at Al-Ahliyya Amman University Meets New Students

The Dean of the Faculty of Business, Dr. Abd Al Nasser Nour, met with the newly enrolled students at the Faculty for the academic year 2016-2017. This event occured on Thursday,10/11/2016 in the presence of Dr. Mohammed Al Zyoud, Vice Dean and the Head of the Marketing and Hotel Management and Tourism sections, Dr.Alaa Al Hourani, Head of the Department of Banking and Finance, Dr.Tawfiq Abd Al Hadi, Head of the Department of Business Administration, Dr.AhmedAlehit, Head of Management Information Systems and E-Business.Dr. Abd Al Nasser Nour welcomed the new students and stated that the students are important pillars in the educational process. He asserted that changing the name of the Faculty from the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Science to the Faculty of Business confirms the vision of the University and strengthens its leading position locally and regionally to become a special educational center in the field of business. He explained that the vision of the Faculty is to prepare qualified and distinct human cadres theoretically and practically. This aims to cope with the scientific developments with high efficiency. It also intends to supply the local and regional markets with its needs in the field of business and to help actively in the development of the society locally and regionally through the quality of programs at the Faculty. He also explained that the study plans have been updated to cope with the developments at all levels. He emphasized the importance of continuous communication between students and Faculty members in matters related to academic guidance and that the Faculty members should be fully prepared to do that. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Abd Al Nasser and Heads of Departments listened to the views of students , answered their questions and distributed copies of the study and guiding plans to students.
