The Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design Holds an Extended Meeting with Students who will Sit for the Proficiency Exam

Dr. Rana Al-Matarneh, the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, held an extended meeting with the Faculty students who have to sit for the University Proficiency Exam on Thursday, 23/3/2017. The Vice-Dean and the Heads of the Scientific Departments in the Faculty attended the meeting.The Dean welcomed the students attending the meeting and added that the meeting is the second of its kind which the Deanship of the Faculty held in the academic year 2016-2017. Holding this meeting occurs within the framework of confirming the importance of the University Proficiency Exam and the necessity of achieving a distinguished performance to maintain the scientific status and rank of the Faculty among its counterparts. It is worth mentioning that after the Faculty ranked the first in the University Proficiency Exam in the specialty of Audiovisual Arts for the first semester of this academic year among public and private universities. The Dean asserted the necessity of Students’ adherence to procedures prepared by the scientific departments in this regard which is related to the enlightenment lectures that deal with cognitive areas specific to the University Proficiency Exam. The lectures aimed to improve students’ cognitive skills to achieve distinguished performance in this Exam.
