The Certified Management of Accountant (CMA) Grants AAU Ten Scholarships

With the support of IMA Institute, the AAU Accounting Department of the School of Business obtained ten scholarships for outstanding students in the department. It is worth noting that these scholarships enable students to obtain a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) license issued by the Hawk International Company in cooperation with the Sarh Al-Juman Center for Training and Investment.During the ceremony held at the Regency Palace Hotel in Amman, Mr. Rishi Malhotra, the Representative of the American Institute of Management Accountants, awarded scholarships to outstanding students. The ceremony was attended by the Vice Dean of the School of Business, Dr. Mohammad Dabbaghia, representing the Faculty Dean, Dr. Alaa Al-Hourani, Dr. Fadi Al-Asfour and Dr. Riyad Darwaza, representing the Department. The ceremony was also attended by representatives of the Jordan Association of Management Accountants, the Jordanian Internal Auditors Association and the Jordan Association of Certified Public Accountants along with elite of Jordanian university professors. Professor Husam Khaddash, the Academic Supervisor of Professional Programs at Sarh Al-Joman Center, said that the scholarships distributed to the students included exemption from the CMA examination fees and membership in the American Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
