The Center for Women’s Health in Al-Ahliyya Amman University presents an awareness lecture entitled “It's Time to Expand the Concept of Women's Health

To achieve the strategic objectives pursued by the Center for Women's Health, which are based on providing educational and awareness services for different age groups in the field of women's health, the Center hosted dermatologist Dr. Katrina Abu Fares, President of the Jordanian Society for Health Education.She presented an awareness and educational seminar entitled It's time to expand the concept of women's health where she highlighted the most important health challenges facing women, which must be viewed from a comprehensive perspective on women's health from a young age. Furthermore, she explained that health resembles a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not just the absence of disease or disability, and she stressed that health is resembled by the practice of healthy habits on a daily basis, such as nutrition, exercise and preventive methods to achieve better physical and mental health outcomes.On the sidelines of the seminar, Dr. Rana Abu Hwaij accompanied Dr. Katrina Abu Fares in a tour of the university's beauty department clinics and presented her with a certificate of appreciation and the university shield for her participation.
