The Business School at Al-Ahliyya Amman University Enhances Applied Learning through a Specialized BNPL Digital Solutions Workshop

As part of its continuous efforts to strengthen applied education and bridge academic knowledge with labor market needs, the Business School at Al Ahliyya Amman University organized a specialized workshop titled “BNPL Digital Solution – Buy Now, Pay Later”, in collaboration with Mada, a leading company in financial technology and digital payment solutions. The workshop aligns with the Business School’s strategic direction to equip students with a deeper understanding of rapid transformations in the digital business environment and to provide them with practical insights into modern financial technologies that are shaping the future of financial services and business models. The event witnessed strong participation from Business School students. It focused on the concept of Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL), highlighting its role in promoting financial inclusion, stimulating commercial growth, and enhancing customer experience. In addition, the workshop addressed the key technical, regulatory, and marketing dimensions associated with BNPL solutions. The session was delivered by distinguished representatives from Mada: • Mr. Mohammad Mar’i, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) • Mr. Karim Al-Muhtaseb, Sales Team Lead & FinTech Strategy • Mr. Mohammad Balbisi, Technical Team Member The speakers shared valuable practical experiences with students, discussed real-world BNPL applications in the Jordanian market, and highlighted future career opportunities within the FinTech sector. They emphasized the importance of integrating academic knowledge with applied skills and professional readiness. This initiative reflects the Business School’s commitment to building effective partnerships with the private sector and fostering an engaging educational environment that promotes innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, and lifelong learning—ultimately preparing graduates who are professionally competent and competitive in the job market. At the conclusion of the workshop, the Dean of the Business School honored Mada in recognition of its valuable efforts and active contribution to supporting the educational process and strengthening the integration between academic and practical learning.
