The American Heart Association Renews Accreditation for AAU Health Training Center
Prof. Ahmed Hamdan, Vice President for Academic Affairs at AAU (Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry), received Mr. Mohammed Al-Muzayyen, Senior International Program Director of the American Heart Association (AHA) in the Middle East, in the presence of Prof. Iman Al-Nazli, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, and Prof. Khaldoun Hamdan, Director of Al-Ahliyya Amman University Health Training Center.
Mr. Mohammed Al-Muzayyen praised the outstanding level of Al-Ahliyya Amman University Health Training Center. The American Heart Association renewed the center's accreditation for Basic Life Support (BLS) courses for another three years, following an evaluation by regional assessors. The assessors confirmed that the center met all required standards and delivered exceptional performance on both local and regional levels. The Health Training Center was originally inaugurated on October 7, 2022, and became the first AHA-accredited training center for Basic Life Support at an academic university.
Mr. Al-Muzayyen also conducted field visits to the Faculty of Nursing and the Simulation Center, which is considered one of the most advanced locally and regionally. He commended Al-Ahliyya Amman University for its distinguished standing among Jordanian universities.
