The Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Jordan visits our AAU

President Professor Sari Hamdan warmly received His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Bin Abdul Rahman Alojaili, the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Jordan, along with His Excellency Mr. Salem bin Suleiman Al-Wahaibi, Charge d'Affaires of the Cultural Department at the Omani Attaché, and Dr. Abdullah Ubaidat, Head of the Academic Department at the Embassy. Joining the gathering was our esteemed Vice President for International Relations and Quality Affairs, Professor Anas Al-Soud. The visit delved into discussions on bolstering collaboration between the two entities, exploring potential avenues for hosting cultural events to enhance connectivity with Omani students. Professor Hamdan, in the course of the conversation, underscored the deep-rooted historical ties between Jordan and the Sultanate of Oman. He shed light on the university's recently established disciplines tailored to regional and global labor market demands, emphasizing the significance of guiding Omani students towards fields aligning with their interests and future aspirations. The Omani Ambassador expressed his pride in the university and its substantial academic impact, particularly in light of its distinguished regional and international standing. To conclude the visit, commemorative shields were exchanged as a token of appreciation between Professor Hamdan and His Excellency Sheikh Fahad bin Abdul Rahman Alojaili.
