The Administrative Board of the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities headed by Prof. Sari Hamdan holds its ninth meeting on the campus of Al-Ahliyya Amman University

The Administrative Board of the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities held its ninth meeting, in the presence of the President of the Federation and the President of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, Prof. Sari Hamdan on Wednesday 7/12/2022. This meeting was attended by Deans of Student Affairs from governmental and private universities members of the federation as follow: - Dr. Mustafa Attiyat, Secretary General of the Federation and Dean of Student Affairs at Al-Ahliyya Amman University - Prof. Majed Masaadeh, Dean of Student Affairs at Al-Zarqa University - Dr. Salem Al-Benyan, Dean of Student Affairs at The Islamic Sciences and Education University - Dr. Thelal Oweis, Dean of Student Affairs at the German Jordanian University - Prof. Sadeq Shdaifat, Dean of Student Affairs at the Hashemite University - Prof. Ahmad Al-Muhtaseb, Dean of Student Affairs at Al-Hussein Bin Talal University - Prof. Majed Masaadeh, Dean of Student Affairs at the Jordanian University of Science and Technology - Dr. Amr Al-Kafaween, Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Philadelphia - Dr. Mufleh Al-Thyabat, Dean of Student Affairs at Al Al-Bait University - Dr. Hussam Al-Shroof, Dean of Student Affairs at the Applied Science University - Prof. Mohammad Al-Jadaya, Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Jadara - Dr. Rami Salem, Dean of Student Affairs at Princess Sumaya University for Technology - Prof. Raed Al-Adayleh, Dean of Student Affairs at Mutah University - Dr. Alaa Al-Tarawneh, Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Jordan - Dr. Mohammad Al-Mahasneh, Dean of Student Affairs at Tafila Technical University - Prof. Mohammad Thiyabat, Dean of Student Affairs at Al-Yarmouk University - Prof. Eyad Al-Mallah, Dean of Student Affairs at University of Petra - Dr. Nashwan Nashwan, Dean of Student Affairs at Al-Israa University - Mrs. Majd Shannak, Quartermaster of the Federation - Mr. Issam Al-Sahhar, Chairman of the Technical Committee from Al-Ahliyya Amman University At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the Federation, Prof. Sari Hamdan welcomed the members of the administrative members represented by the Deans of Student Affairs in the Jordanian member universities. The proceedings of the meeting were as follows: First: Approval of the previous minutes of meetings No. 6 + 7 + 8. Second: The Secretary of the Federation, Dr. Mustafa Al-Attiyat discussed the arrangements for the winter sports tournament of Jordanian universities, which will be held in the city of Aqaba during the period 5-10/1/2023. The tournament includes holding a five-a-side football tournament for students along with a badminton championship for the female students. The opening ceremony of the tournament will be held on Friday evening, 6/1/2023, at the Martyr Ghazi Mathkour Al-Kabariti Hall of the Prince Rashid Club. Third: Brief and review on the preparations of the Jordanian universities team to participate in the fourth edition of the Arab University Football Championship for the five-a-side (in Halls) tournament in the United Arab Emirates during the period 23-31/12/2022. The preparations included providing that an internal camp for the team will be established during the period 18-22/12 / 2023, and it was approved to host the delegation of the Palestinian universities team to participate in the same tournament during the period 20-22/12/2022, which includes a friendly match between the two teams. Fourth: Revision of the Jordanian Universities Chess Team’s preparations to participate in the Asian Universities Chess Championship "Online" during the period 17-26/12/2022. Fifth: The affiliation of the Middle East University with the Sports Federation of Jordanian Universities has been approved. Sixth: The President of the Federation discussed the second version of the Jordanian Universities Basketball League (males and females) and stressed the necessity of this tournament and its success for its benefit for the participating universities in which enhances the memorandum of understanding signed with the Jordanian Basketball Federation.
