The Activities of the Career Day in the AAU with the Participation of 55 Companies and Providing More Than 300 Job Opportunities

Under the Patronage of the President of the AAU, Prof. Sadeq Hamed, the University organized the activities of the Career Day for graduates and the local community with the participation of more than 55 Jordanian companies. The event took place on Tuesday, 11-4-2017.The activities of the day were attended by a large number of Jordanian youths who were looking for job opportunities that suit their academic specialties and career choices. The University provided more than 300 job opportunities through participation of institutions and companies. The graduates of the University and the youths of Al-Balqa governorate benefited from these job opportunities.In turn, the young people appreciated the AAU efforts in providing a number of job opportunities which stems from the University’s responsibility towards the local community. In his turn, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Majed Ausaili confirmed that the University Administration represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Maher Al-Horani and the president of the University Prof. Sadeq Hamed are interested, as other local institutions, in providing job opportunities for the graduates of the University and the local community in light of, the challenges that face Jordanian youth and in considering the growing levels of unemployment locally and internationally. He also appreciated the great participation of Jordanian companies and institutions in providing job opportunities for the youths.At the end of the activities, the President of the University handed the participating companies certificates of appreciation.
