The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center in Al-Ahliyya Amman University holds its first meeting

The Director of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center of Al-Ahliyya Amman University and the Vice President for International Relations and Quality, Prof. Anas Al-Soud, held the first meeting of the center for the academic year 2022/2023. This meeting was in the presence of the center’s members and deputy deans of faculties for accreditation and quality affairs, where Prof. Al-Soud reviewed the objectives of the center and the strategic goals of the university in regards to the international accreditations and rankings for the upcoming academic year. The deputy deans for accreditations and quality affairs were introduced to the mechanism of international accreditations, in which Prof. Anas assured that this requires a team work of all faculty members to be involved in order to achieve such classifications and quality assurances including the QS World University Rankings and the Times Arab University Rankings. Furthermore, Prof. Anas discussed the key indicators that are taken into consideration in regards to the measurement of performance and what is required this year from every researcher and faculty member in all faculties. Hence, the Deputy Dean for Accreditation and Quality Affairs is a liaison officer who provides the center with all the requirements on a regular basis. In addition, the university’s indicators during the past five years were discussed, noting what has been achieved, maintained and maximized as well as the most important factors that aid in shifting the classification of Al-Ahliyya Amman University regionally and globally and build a better educational reputation. In conclusion, the Director of the Hourani Center for E-learning, Mr. Ashraf Nairoukh, presented the positive reflection of classification indicators on the development of the university's new website, which will be launched in the coming period.
