The AAU Students Participate in A Dialogue Session with His Excellency the Prime Minister, Dr. Omar Al-Razzaz

By the invitation of the Center for Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan, a number of AAU students participated in a Dialogue Session with His Excellency the Prime Minister Dr. Omar Al-Razzaz titled General Budget & Government Priorities. It is worth mentioning that a number of ministers attended this session which took place on Wednesday, 27/11/2019 in the Royal Cultural Center. In his speech, Dr. Al-Razzaz referred to the necessity of developing a plan to achieve the economic and financial independence and self-reliance. His Excellency highlighted the need to reconsider the salaries and wages received by public sector employees. He also indicted that receiving the citizens’ complaints should be one of the most important services that the government provides for them. Furthermore, Dr. Al-Razaz touched on the importance of upgrading the health and education sectors. He also mentioned that at the same time, the government aims not to raise taxes in the 2020 budget, but it aims to improve wages and government services.
