The AAU Students of the Hearing & Speech Department Visit Petra University

Among the curricular activities that the AAU Faculties seek to achieve to develop the students’ abilities, the instructor Laila Qanawati, the speech specialist Dima Zabalawi and Aya Mahmoud, a speech technician, along with a number of students of the Department of Hearing & Speech visited the Information Technology Department at Petra University. The visit which took place on Saturday, 23/3/2019 aimed to be acquainted with the auditory feedback device used for stuttering cases. In order to measure the effectiveness of the device, a scientific research is conducted, supported by the University of Petra and in cooperation with the Faculty of Information Technology. The device was reviewed and some comments were given by specialists on how to use it and on the extent of its effectiveness.
