The AAU’s Deanship of Student Affairs Organizes A Reception for the New Students

The AAU Deanship of Student Affairs organized a reception for the new students who joined the AAU during the first semester 2017-2018. The reception was commenced with playing the Royal Anthem and reciting verses from the Holy Quran. Prof. Sulaiman Al-Lawzi, the Vice president for Academic Affairs greeted and welcomed the students to the AAU University which is the first private University in the Middle East. He called upon them to exert more efforts to attain the highest points of excellence, competition and distinction. He also pointed to the importance of rejecting violence in all its forms; and the significance of resorting to dialogues. He told them to familiarize themselves with the study plans and the student’s guide which describes the regulations, instructions and the co-curricular activities which the different faculties conduct. On his part, Prof. Sadeq Hamed, the AAU President, expressed his happiness of the students who joined the AAU from inside and outside Jordan and took pride in preparing students for excellence at all levels. The reception included also some cultural and artistic activities and was concluded with a round at the Arena Complex where students were entertained and granted various souvenirs.
