The AAU Ranked Eighth in the Qatar International Debates

The AAU Debating Team ranked eighth in the International Debate Contest which took place in Qatar. This event was part of the 2017 Qatar Fourth Debate for universities in the Arabic language. It took place from 8 to 12, April 2017. Eighty seven teams from Arab and International universities and from forty six countries around the world participated in the event. The AAU team has been qualified for the sixteenth round.The participation of the team has achieved the objectives of the University in creating a conscious generation capable of participating in intellectual dialogues and debates and respecting the opinion of others. The team included the following students: Reham Eshtewi/from the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Yazan Sadaqa/from the Faculty of Engineering, Gadeer Al-Diqs/from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Marah Qteishat/ from the School of Business and the Head of the delegation and the team trainer Dr. Feda Guaim.
