The AAU President Inaugurates the Annual Exhibition & Bazaar of Arab Students

The AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, inaugurated the annual exhibition and bazaar of Arab students on Sunday 22/12/2019 in the Arena Cultural Complex. It is worth mentioning that the Deanship of Student Affairs organized this event. The opening ceremony was attended by prominent and high-ranking figures namely the Qatari Ambassador, Saud bin Nasser Al Thani, the Qatari Cultural Attaché, Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Mahmoud Al-Sharif, the Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Jordan, Haider Al-Athari, the Iraqi Cultural Attaché, Dr. Haider Kamel Zidan, the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Omani Embassy, Counselor Faisal bin Sultan Al-Hosani, the Head of the Academic Affairs at the Omani Embassy, Dr. Ibrahim Abu Qudiri, the Chief of Mission in Amman, the Minister Counselor at the Syrian Embassy, Dr. Youssef Al-Shoom, the Cultural Attaché in the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Jordan, Dr. Bader Al-Mutairi, the Egyptian Counselor Omar Yousry along with a number of representatives of embassies of the other Arab countries. This event was remarked by the distinguished participation of the following countries: Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Yemen, Iraq, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait along with Jordan. During this event, the patron of the ceremony accompanied the guests in a tour to all exhibition pavilions designated for each country. During this tour, the guests were acquainted with all that distinguishes every participating Arab country through the exhibited handicrafts, traditional foods and many other products that impressed the audience. The opening ceremony was also attended by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mustafa Al-Attiyat, Mrs. Enas Al-Hourani, the Director of Public & International Relations, a number of deans and members of the academic & administrative staff along with a multitude of invitees and guests. It is noteworthy that the exhibition of Arab students at AAU is witnessing a remarkable success year after year due to the wide participation, good organization and large attendance of students and guests.
